To be considered a WWF FIP Participant, the company is expected to engage in FIP activities outlined in the FIP Participant Policy nd provide funding in the amount of $0.01 per pound of the expected FIP product volume that the Participant intends to source over the term, plus an optional fixed amount as shown in Appendix A, with a minimum annual payment of Two Thousand Dollars ($2000) per FIP that the Participant supports. For more information on each WWF FIP go to the FISHERIES tab above.

To sign up to be a FIP Participant follow the steps below and complete all information. Upon completing all steps, an MOU will be generated and emailed to you for your review. A WWF Program Officer will contact you to confirm if all information is correct. Upon your confirmation we will send a separate email that contains the MOU via DocuSign for your electronic signature.

Once you sign the DocuSign version of the MOU we will add your company name to the list of FIP Participants on seafoodsustainability.org and to our list of WWF-US Seafood Partnerships in our Seafood Markets Brochure.

Please check all Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs) that you would like to participate in. Then fill in the expected FIP Product volume you intend to source from the FIP(s) over the one-year term of the MOU. A minimum $2,000 contribution per FIP is required. If the minimum is not met the total amount due will automatically show in the TOTAL at the bottom of the form. At the end of the MOU term, you will be asked to submit a volume report showing the actual amount of product volume sourced from the FIP(s) over the term of your MOU.

WWF is involved in over 20 FIPS globally. If you would like to become a FIP Participant but do not see the FIP listed below please email us at FIP@nullseafoodsustainability.org.

Fee is based on volume of fish you anticipate importing. Calculation is $0.01 per lb.

Please insert the MOU start and end date for a one year term. For example, if a MOU starts 1/1/19 the MOU will end on 12/31/19. The MOU is effective beginning on the start date for a term of twelve months, and shall automatically renew for successive one-year terms (each, a "Term"), unless either party gives notice to the other of its termination of the MOU by the end date of the then-current term. We will email you 30 days prior to the MOU end date to confirm or withdraw your participation.
