David Schorr
Senior Advisor
David Schorr is a Senior Advisor focused on transforming seafood traceability and the transparency of fishing. David has been associated with WWF as a staff member and a Senior Fellow since 1993. For ten years, David was an independent consultant to NGOs, IGOs, and governmental clients on issues of fisheries governance, globalization and the environment. David previously guided WWF’s groundbreaking advocacy to curb harmful fisheries subsidies, and directed WWF’s Sustainable Commerce Program.
Prior to joining WWF, David practiced international law in Washington, D.C. He graduated Yale Law School and Oberlin College, and has taught trade law as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University and American University Washington College of Law.
